Sovereign strengthens its TMT focus with new appointment

Sovereign Capital, the UK private equity Buy & Build specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bala Krishnan to the team. Bala, who joins Sovereign as an Investment Director, will work on new platform investments in Software, Tech Enabled Services, Business Information and Media.

Bala joins Sovereign from First Capital, where he spent 10 years focused on the TMT sector. There he worked on a number of transactions including Metronet, Valueworks, ecommera and Salmon. Prior to this, Bala was with Advent Venture Partners where he was in a finance and portfolio role covering high-growth technology investments. Bala qualified as an accountant at KPMG.

We are delighted to welcome Bala to the team. He has a wealth of experience of working alongside management teams to build successful businesses and we look forward to working with him as we continue to develop our support services specialisations.
