This is the third acquisition Bioscript has made since Sovereign backed the management team in March 2021, to significantly increase its geographic footprint and extend into adjacent strategic services. Last summer the acquisitions of Fortis Pharma Consulting (‘Fortis’), a specialist medical affairs service provider, and Valid Insight, a specialist market access consultancy, were announced.

Meridian HealthComms, founded in 2004, has built enduring partnerships with its pharmaceutical company and biotech clients through its strength in scientific and clinical communications, strategic planning and brand management. The acquisition enables the enhanced Group to provide its clients with extended support across integrated medical communication programmes from very early clinical development through to market access communications.
