Sovereign appoints Tom Allchorne as Head of Marketing & Communications

Sovereign Capital Partners, the UK private equity Buy & Build specialist, is delighted to welcome Tom Allchorne to the team as Head of Marketing & Communications.

Tom joins from British Patient Capital, the venture and growth capital subsidiary of the British Business Bank, where he was responsible for delivering its communications strategy. Prior to that he was the Communications Director at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), overseeing the organisation’s media, marketing and digital activities for more than seven years.

Tom began his career in 2000 as a journalist. He initially reported on the project finance market and moved to Thomson Financial in 2004 to cover European private equity and venture capital.
