Prior to this, I spent eight years working as a Corporate Finance Adviser, initially with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and latterly with Landsbanki where I focused on M&A for mid-market companies. I graduated from Durham University with a BA in Economics, and whilst working for Capita I completed an MBA at Cranfield.
Given my background, the Buy & Build strategy we deploy to support entrepreneurial management teams to realise their growth ambitions is particularly interesting.
Sovereign's successful track record for creating value, together with their work with tech-enabled businesses, really attracted me to them. I am married with two energetic young daughters, so much of my spare time is spent keeping them amused! When time allows I also enjoy running, yoga and family holidays.
