Sovereign has always had a strongly entrepreneurial culture and one of the ways in which we demonstrate our values has been by supporting the Social Mobility Foundation. The Foundation provides practical support to young people from low-income backgrounds to enable them to benefit from opportunities and networks which they would otherwise be unable to get from their school or family.
For more than a decade, each year Sovereign has offered work experience and internships to a number of high achieving university pupils doing finance-related degrees. From doing research, reviewing internal papers to attending meetings where appropriate, our candidates have been given the opportunity to shadow our teams in order to offer them a rounded education in private equity.
