Sovereign Capital hires 20th Investment Executive

Sovereign Capital, the UK private equity Buy & Build specialist, today announces the appointment of Sarah Pratt as a researcher, its third recruit this year, to Sovereign's now 20-strong investment team.

Sarah joins from Citigroup Global Markets where she was a researcher supporting an investment banking team.  Sarah holds a post graduate diploma in Management Studies from Greenwich School of Management, following an English and Philosophy degree from Rhodes University in South Africa.

Sarah will support Sovereign's ongoing research in its defined service based sectors of Education & Training, Healthcare and Support Services where Sovereign has completed 10 transactions in 2008 including three platform investments; most recently 1^st Saxon-Clenmay for its new social housing maintenance platform Renovo.
