Paragon is a leading provider of government funded training in the South and South West of England supporting 700 employers. Paragon has grown to become one of the region's largest training providers across a range of sectors including automotive, marine, engineering, care, financial services and business administration.

As one of England's largest Young Apprenticeship providers, Paragon facilitates training for 3,400 current learners. The business has a particular record in providing apprentices to world leading marine businesses, including Sunseeker and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

In June 2010, Paragon completed the acquisition of specialist childcare training provider Platinum, extending the Group's geographic reach into the Midlands and broadening its training expertise in the Early Years Care sub-sector.

Sovereign is currently in discussion with a number of bolt-on acquisition opportunities to increase the size of the business and extend its geographic reach.
