DC Leisure currently runs over 110 leisure centres in the UK under long-term, outsourced management contracts from local authorities.  With Sovereign, DC Leisure has improved its position from number three in the market to number one.

The group employs over 7,000 staff and serves a broad market. DC Leisure is also a leading contractor in the emerging leisure PFI market.

DC Leisure's "Swimming Academy" is the largest and most successful swimming coaching programme in the UK, with 43,000 students learning to swim in its facilities each week.
