CHOICE

CHOICE provides specialist services and residential care for adults with a wide range of complex needs and learning disabilities in and around Berkshire. CHOICE offers service users a range of educational and therapeutic services.

In January 2004, Sovereign extended the geographic coverage through the IBO of Orchard End Group, based in and around Gloucester, a special care home provider for adults with learning disabilities and in June 2004 added Truecare Group, based in Hampshire, under The CHOICE Care Group umbrella, which provides residential care and, support of adults with a learning disability or mental disorder.

Under Sovereign's stewardship, the CHOICE Care Group has grown its number of homes from 8 at acquisition to 39 today and increased the number of beds from 65 to 304.  The combined group now employs over 800 staff.
