SENAD
SENAD operates homes and schools for children and young people who have special education and/or care needs. The Group is recognised as the pre-eminent dedicated provider of SEN schools in the UK through its delivery of high-quality education and care.
During Sovereign’s investment, we worked with the management team to grow SENAD both organically and through the acquisitions of three complementary schools – Tregynon Hall, Aran Hall School and Orchard School.
SENAD also expanded into caring for young adults leaving SENAD schools at the age of 19, enabling the Group to provide care into adulthood. By the end of our investment, SENAD was offering over 400 places across seven schools.
