BIMM

When Sovereign first invested in BIMM the Group had 1,150 students in colleges in Brighton and Bristol. Since then, BIMM has acquired Tech Music Schools (TMS) in London, the UK’s longest established, contemporary music provider and has opened new schools in Dublin and Manchester.

Today BIMM is recognised as being a leading, specialist provider of vocational oriented higher education in the UK & Ireland, with over 3,400 students combining their musical skills with the education and training needed to achieve their aspirations.

Rock legend Roger Daltrey has been become Patron of BIMM Brighton.

Due to strong demand, BIMM has opened a new state-of-the-art campus in Fulham and a £3m campus in Manchester. The Manchester campus houses specialist teaching spaces for studies in vocals, drums, guitar, bass, songwriting, music business and event management and has live performance studios.

BIMM has been chosen by Sony Music to help deliver its new A&R Academy, the purpose of which is to find "the best young creative talent and prepare them for a career in the modern music industry".

“We have seen strong growth in student intake and significant development in the breadth of courses we offer. With Sovereign’s continued support, we are confident that the demand for our unique educational offer will increase further.”

Adam Carswell, Managing Director
