Tom Matthews

Tom joined Sovereign Capital in 2008 and has been involved with a significant number of deals. These include the platform investments of CFFA and CHOICE Pathways, bolt-on acquisitions for CFFA, Select Living Options, CHOICE Pathways, LM Funerals and LPM, roll-outs for CHOICE, CHOICE Pathways and LM Funerals and re-capitalisations for National Fostering Agency, CFFA, CHOICE and LM Funerals.

Tom joined Sovereign Capital from the investment banking division at Macquarie Bank, where he specialised in the healthcare sector. Prior to Macquarie, Tom gained substantial transaction experience at Deloitte Corporate Finance.

Tom is a CFA charterholder, has a masters in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a BSc in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics.
