Richard Taylor

Richard joined Sovereign’s deal execution team in June 2009 and has led the investments in Rehabworks, Christchurch Court and Creare Communications. Prior to Sovereign, Richard was with Octopus Private Equity where he founded and headed the firm’s Leeds office, leading deals in the lower-mid market.

Richard started his private equity career at YFM Group where he spent seven years originating, leading and successfully exiting a number of investments, achieving strong

returns for investors. Richard is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Richard has a BA in Economics and Economic History from the University of York.
