I originally built up my deal experience at RJD Partners where I became a Partner in 2011. My sector focus was business and financial services, primarily as the first institutional owner of the companies we backed.

At Sovereign I currently oversee our investments in Acolin, Summit Group, Skerritts and LB Group, having led the successful realisations of Alveo, a global provider of financial data management software to financial institutions, and Arachas, where our investment helped create Ireland’s leading insurance broker.
I was previously at Close Brothers Corporate Finance in M&A, having qualified as an accountant with PwC. My degree was in modern languages at Oxford University, including a stint at a wine chateau in Chablis.
I'm married with three children, which is why I have become more of an armchair sportsman, but still enjoy getting out into the fresh air for some cycling, golf and skiing. I also enjoy an endurance challenge – I’m taking part in the 2024 London Marathon for Brain & Spine Foundation, and completed a Channel swim relay as one of four in 2019, raising over £20,000 for the Evelina Children’s Hospital, a cause very close to my heart.
